This album serves as an archival compilation of rúna concepts penned throughout the years, with origins reaching as far back as 2012. It represents a sonorous amalgamation of winter synth and dark drone ambient, filled with an abundance of tape hiss.

I."vinter," pays homage to Northaunt's Barren Land.

II. "snø" drew inspiration from extensive winter hikes in the mountains surrounding Nederland, Colorado.

III. "stjerner," reflects a cold nocturnal hike at Letchworth State Park, NY.

IV. "skog," takes inspiration from the Norway spruce forest found in Zoar Valley, NY.

V. is a deliberate, slow remix of "månen," originally featured in the initial demo.

VI. is a cover of natt, by the legendary Manes. Analog only.

Released to coincide with the final full moon of the year MMXXIII, the Cold Moon.
